You can just send something in! If someone doesn’t like a review of their character, they can ask and I’ll take it down :)

Hey, I hope this is ok but I thought I’d take a shot at improving Nova’s character a bit and making her look less like Rouge. Starting from the top, she had the same head shape, muzzle, and ear shape as Rouge did, so of course it would look like her! Try looking at IRL bats for inspiration instead of just basing traits off existing characters c: In this case I gave her a leaf nose and more pointed bat ears. I also made her head a bit more rectangular and eyes more angular.
As an aside, a scratch that nasty would mess up your eye pretty bad! It should be more damage than a scar, I’d be amazed if you could still HAD an eye after that! Ouch!
Also, I couldn’t help but notice her outfit was a little plain, so I took a shot at that, too! It didn’t make sense to me that she’d have a plain old hoodie and jeans when this is the future in an alternate universe! Her outfit should at least follow the same theme as her flashy boots.
My final thought was, why would she need a sword if she’s got psychic powers? Psychic powers and telekinesis would leave much less evidence than a sword, which should be vital to an assassin. Also she and Silver have psychic powers, and Blaze has fire powers. It’s safe to assume in this universe that the average person will also have powers that can easily fight back against a plain ol’ sword. So I left it out. If she actually has an important reason to use a sword then disregard this im an idiot
Also she doesnt have wings because….. I forgot them. Opps :I

Thoughts on Outfit Design
Before I talk about character design in general, I want to tackle clothing. Specifically, how people decide to dress their characters. The outfit is pretty much the first impression your character makes. How your character decides to dress themselves immediately tells you a lot about their background and personality before they open their mouths or you write a single word of their biography. It’s so vital to get right, but pretty much every fancharacter I see seems to just focus on making their character look cool or fashionable without factoring in the character’s background, hobbies, or personality.
To get a better idea of what I’m talking about, let’s look at some official characters and how they dress.
